About Us

In 1987 the norm was that when you hit a certain age, or needed help to live independently, you moved out of the comfort of your own home and into residential aged care.

Sounds crazy doesn’t it?

A group of like-minded caring individuals certainly thought so. They knew from their own experiences with loved ones that if given a choice a person would always prefer living on their own terms in familiar surroundings.  Rather than just lament about the way things were, they decided to do something about it.

In 1987 Better Living Homecare was born. While a culture of innovation has lead to continual improvement our core values of integrity, respect and trust have remained the same.
